Mailstore is a fantastic archiving and search tool for emails.

MailStore Server, the business version, acts as a server allowing multiple users to securely access and add to the archive.

There is also a free version for home users which allows you to store all of you email in one central place.

Emails can be archived from many applications and sources including Outlook, Outlook Express and Thunderbird as well as IMAP and POP3 sources. Email can optionally be automatically deleted from the source once it has been archived.

From within MailStore search and view emails very quickly indeed. Emails can be extracted from the archive in standard formats so that your email is always accessible in a form that can be used. If you store email messages (as many people do) this is an indispensable tool.
