Terms of service:
- The callout charge will be waived for local jobs. 'Local' means within Upper Wensleydale (From Hawes in the west to Constable Burton in the east), Bishopdale, Walden, Coverdale (as far as Horsehouse including Middleham), Upper Swaledale (Keld to Marske) and Langthwaite in Arkengarthdale.
- The call-out charge includes the first hour on-site and most repairs can be completed within that first hour. If the job is going to take significantly longer and incur additional cost you will be told before work commences.
- All jobs are charged at a minimum of one hour and after the first hour charges are in half hourly increments.
- Wherever possble appointments will be made for the same day. Appointment times will be adhered to whenever humanly possible. If a problem arises you will be notified before the appointment time. If this occurs within an hour of the agreed time the standard daily rate will apply (ie. £25 per hour) even if the appointment is carried out in the evening or at weekends and any callout charge will be waived.
- IMPORTANT - PARTS and MATERIAL SUPPLIED: If parts are required for repairs or upgrades Dales Computer services can source those parts at the best price (only using reputable sources) on your behalf. If you wish this any guarantee on the parts supplied are with the manufacturer of the part or the shop used to source the goods. Receipts will be supplied in case of claim within the guarantee period. The following charges will apply to this service: Cost of parts (including delivery charges and VAT incurred) + 10% service charge. Alternatively you will be advised what is required and you are free to source the parts yourself.
- Payment can be made in cash or by cheque (made payable to "Dales Computer Services") at the conclusion of the appointment or with 14 days following receipt of an invoice.
